Corey (fka Corriander) was born in our care after his mama, Cinnamon, was found as a stray in the city of Philadelphia.

Sometimes, all the information we receive about stray dogs is where they were found. And sometimes, that means we don’t realize right away that they’re not just a little chunky… but also pregnant! Mama Cinnamon gave us a huge surprise shortly after arriving in our care with the imminent arrival of her NINE puppies!

Corey’s forever mom was actually one of the volunteers helping when we discovered Cinnamon was pregnant. While they absolutely fell in love with Cinnamon, they unfortunately couldn’t adopt another female dog. They excitedly waited to see if Cinnamon would have any male puppies that could join their family… and along came Corey.

Corey first visited his future forever home for a few day trips to enjoy some socialization, puppy pool time, and lots of love. His now forever mom completely fell in love, and the rest is history!

Today, Corey’s life is filled with fun, love, and a family who truly adores him. He loves his older siblings and is growing into such a big boy! Even better, all 9 “Spice Puppy” siblings have their own Facebook group where their families share updates, photos, and keep in touch with one another.
