Dotti
Dotti came to Angel’s Retreat Rescue as a surrender from a commercial breeding facility in Lancaster County after she and her two siblings were unable to be sold.
Like many puppy mill survivors, Dotti missed out on the critical socialization and experiences that help puppies learn the world is a safe place. Dogs like her rely on their adoptive families to patiently build trust, nurture confidence, and teach them how to enjoy all the things so many dogs take for granted. Fortunately, Dotti found exactly the family she needed. After falling in love with her at one of our adoption events, her adopters opened their hearts and home to her, and gave her all she needed to thrive!
Please enjoy this wonderful update from Dotti’s forever mom:
“We adopted our sweet Dotti (Mila) from Angel’s Retreat this past September, and she just turned one on April 15th. She has completely filled our lives with love and joy in a way we never expected. She absolutely thrives in her beach home, loves going for car rides, tagging along to the store, and playing endlessly with her fur cousins. Most of all, she adores her family- and we adore her right back.
Bringing her into our home has been just as meaningful for us as it has been for her. We truly can’t imagine our lives without her, and we’re so grateful to Angel’s Retreat for bringing her into our world.”
Hugs to Dotti’s amazing family for opening their hearts, choosing adoption, and giving her the life she always deserved. We couldn’t be happier to see this sweet girl thriving!
