Finn

Finn (fka Twinkie) originally was saved from a commercial breeding facility in Lancaster county due to having a tail injury caused by a littermate.

The puppy mill was not going to be able to sell a puppy with a broken and wounded tail, and it wouldn’t heal in time for him to be profitable to sell, so they simply decided to get rid of him. We found a littermate had actually chewed part of Finn’s tail off, but we were able to get him the care he needed and he was back to a normal happy puppy in no time!

Finn took some time to heal in his foster home and then was lucky enough to be adopted by one of our volunteers! Please read this update from his forever mom, below:

“Finn is now 9 months old and quickly surpassed the size of a cavapoo. It’s been fun seeing how much he’s grown. Finn is a fast learner and is working on tricks and (amateur) agility exercises to keep his mind active. He loves to snuggle and take long car rides. Finn has discovered that fetch is his favorite game and he could play it all day.”

Big hugs to Finn and Leslie!
