Miah came to us as an owner surrender, along with her housemate Smokey, after their former family decided they could no longer care for them. They needed help finding a family who would love them the way they deserved, for the rest of their days!

Miah’s forever family had applied with us months prior and had been patiently waiting for the perfect dog to come along for them. We knew they would make a great forever family for one of our dogs and were excited to introduce them to such a sweet girl who matched exactly what they were looking for!

Today, Miah’s life is filled with comfort, love, and a family who will truly be her forever family. This is the happy ending we dream of for every single dog!

“I wanted to send an update on Miah, who we adopted in mid-November 2025. She has settled in super quickly and definitely made herself at home. Although she’s not the biggest fan of the cold, she loves it when we bundle her up and take her for walks around our neighborhood (she has learned what the word “outside” means impressively fast). She was absolutely spoiled by our families during Christmas time and loves her new mountain of toys, pup cups, and stash of treats that should last the whole year. She is such a snuggle bug at heart and loves hopping up on our laps when we work from home, sneaking into the bed at night, and going absolutely crazy with excitement when one of us comes home after a day at work.”
